High Anxiety Productions is a Philadelphia-based conglomeration of individuals who are producing a full-length, non-fiction film about the band Ruin, and, in a broader sense, the early 80s Philly punk scene. The story will be told by those who were there, along with the band members. Most of us at High Anxiety were teenagers at the time, so it's going to be a history lesson as well as an exercise in documentary filmmaking for us.

We need your help. We're looking for people who have anything - pictures, film, sound, artifacts - that involves Ruin and the Philly punk scene at that time. We need any and all types of media to assist in the storytelling. We need videos, photos, flyers, anything you may have, including and especially, memories. We are also looking for any pictures or videos that capture the ambience of Philadlephia in this time. The story will be told by those who were there. If you were there, we might want to send a crew out to you and get your take on what Ruin meant to you then, and what it means to you today. You would be filmed and you would help tell the story of Ruin.

Every member of Ruin is on board and excited about this project. This project will become reality, and we need all of your help to give it the treatment it deserves. Anything sent to us will be returned in the condition it was sent, and anyone who talks to us or has something for us will be added to a mailing list to receive updates about the project.
